Secretary of the Scientific Council
Sevinc Mammadzada Salim was born on November 16, 1982, in Baku. She graduated from Baku Secondary School No. 263 in 1999. In 2003, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Translation from the Azerbaijan University of Languages, and in 2005, she completed her Master's degree in the same field. In 2007, she graduated from the Baku Institute for Professional Development and Retraining of Pedagogical Staff with a specialization in Foreign Language Teaching (English).
In 2014, she entered the doctoral program at Odlar Yurdu University in the field of "Language Theory," and in 2022, she received the degree of Philosophy Doctor in Philology, approved by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2023, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor by the Higher Attestation Commission.
Sevinc Mammadzada is the author of more than 30 scientific works, teaching, and methodological materials. Her scientific articles have been published not only in academic journals in our country but also in renowned journals in Russia, the United States, Canada, Italy, and Spain.
As the Scientific Secretary, she is responsible for preparing the working plan of the Scientific Council, organizing meetings, providing necessary materials to the Council members in advance, drafting meeting minutes, and ensuring the proper storage of documents. She also maintains contact with the Higher Attestation Commission for the awarding of academic degrees and organizes the preparation of reviews on scientific works received from foreign educational and scientific institutions. At the end of the academic year, she prepares a report on the activities of the Scientific Council and presents it to the Chairperson.
