Odlar Yurdu University New Academic Year Opening

A ceremony was held at Odlar Yurdu University to mark the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year. The event started with the performance of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.
The opening of the event was made by the rector, Professor Ahmed Valiyev. He warmly greeted the new students and expressed great pleasure in welcoming them to the university family. The rector emphasized the university's strong academic teaching system and the support provided to students. He also explained in detail how modern teaching methods will positively influence students' academic and personal development.
Professor Ahmed Valiyev pointed out the strategic goals of Odlar Yurdu University aimed at preparing specialists who will be beneficial to society and highlighted the role of students in achieving these goals. He emphasized the positive impact of the university's wide career opportunities and internship programs on students' future careers and encouraged them to make the most of these opportunities.
Next, the head of the United Faculties Department, Associate Professor Aynura Gurbanova, delivered a speech providing detailed information about the support and resources offered to students in the university’s academic process. She explained how the academic opportunities, research activities, and modern teaching methods presented by the university support students’ development.
In the next part of the event, the new students became acquainted with the university. The faculty of our university provided detailed information about the university’s structure, academic process, and student life. During this acquaintance, students became familiar with various educational, internship, and career opportunities at the university.
At the conclusion of the event, the co-chair of the Career and Internship Center, Associate Professor Fuad Ibadov, delivered a speech providing detailed information about the career development opportunities and resources offered by the university. He gave recommendations on internship programs and other initiatives that will help students shape their career paths at the university.
