The Vice-Rector for Educational Organization and New Teaching Technologies of Odlar Yurdu University, Associate Professor Qabil Qafarov, participated in a large-scale international event held at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden. The event focused on “Strengthening the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Azerbaijan's Higher Education.”
This event was part of the “ENGAGE” project, supported by the European Union, and dedicated to the development of entrepreneurship education and the implementation of innovative approaches in the higher education system.
On the first day of the event, participants were presented with a weekly work plan, and the main objectives and future perspectives of the project were discussed in detail. Special attention was given to Sweden's experience in entrepreneurship education. Participants gained insights into strategies for fostering entrepreneurial skills and innovative thinking among youth.
In the following days, a report on the project's progress was presented, and activity plans for 2025 were developed. During these discussions, current issues related to the development of entrepreneurship ecosystems at national and institutional levels were highlighted.
The participation of Odlar Yurdu University in this event demonstrates its commitment to expanding international collaborations and contributing to the development of innovative teaching approaches. This event has paved the way for enhancing the international reputation of Azerbaijan's higher education institutions and Odlar Yurdu University, as well as the adoption of new approaches in the education system.
