At Odlar Yurdu University, discussions were held within the framework of the "Strengthening the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Higher Education in Azerbaijan" (ENGAGE) project. The meeting brought together the vice rectors for academic affairs, department heads, and faculty directors of participating universities to discuss the inclusion of entrepreneurship courses into academic curricula in line with the project goals. The meeting took place in an interactive format, both in-person at the university and via live stream with colleagues from other universities.
The main focus of the meeting was on key issues regarding the development of entrepreneurship education, improving academic programs, and enhancing students' entrepreneurial skills within the framework of the project's main objectives. Participants proposed ideas on adapting curricula to modern requirements and implementing new methods in the teaching process.
During the discussions on the next stages of the ENGAGE project, upcoming tasks, action plans, and strategic steps for further strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the national higher education system were discussed. The discussions emphasized learning from international experiences and adapting them to local teaching processes to establish a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Hosting the meeting at Odlar Yurdu University further confirmed its support for the development of entrepreneurship education and the implementation of innovative approaches. Such meetings within the ENGAGE project make a significant contribution to the application of new approaches in Azerbaijan's higher education system and the development of students' entrepreneurial potential.
