At the Faculty of Humanities, Education, and Languages, a lesson on the subject of "Azerbaijani Dialectology" was organized. Under the leadership of Rəvanə Məmmədova, a lecturer at the Department of Philology and Humanities, the lesson was held for third-year students of group 654F and was dedicated to the topic "Lexical Composition of Dialects."
During the lecture, issues regarding the study of Azerbaijani dialects and vernaculars were discussed, with information provided on their formation history, distribution, and linguistic features. Rəvanə Məmmədova emphasized the scientific and practical significance of dialectological research and particularly highlighted its place in Azerbaijani linguistics.
During the lesson, students presented on the Karabakh, Sheki, and Southern dialects, as well as performed skits reflecting the phonetic, lexical, and grammatical characteristics of these dialects. Discussions involving faculty deans and lecturers from Odlar Yurdu University provided students with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills on the subject.
