The meeting of the Scientific Council of OYU was held

A meeting of the Scientific Council of Odlar Yurdu University was held on the topic of the tasks for the 2019-2020 academic year. First, the rector of Odlar Yurdu University, Professor Ahmad Valiyev, informed the council members about the issues on the agenda of the meeting.

During the meeting, reports were presented on the results of scientific research conducted at the university in 2019, the diagnostic assessment of teachers, the creation and implementation of an information management platform for education, the establishment of a unified and centralized database, the scientific activities of young researchers, doctoral students, and dissertation candidates, as well as the scientific directions pursued by the departments. It was noted that currently, the university's faculty and students are more interested in conducting scientific research.

It was further emphasized that expanding cooperation with foreign universities, the dynamic development of Azerbaijani science and education, the training of scientific personnel, strengthening scientific potential, and achieving scientific and technical achievements are the priority areas set before us.

Later, comprehensive information was provided to the members of the Scientific Council about the results of the summer exam session at Odlar Yurdu University. Success indicators of individual faculties and other statistical data were presented for consideration.

It was also highlighted that to ensure the efficient use of students' free time and to raise the youth with a patriotic spirit, regular meetings with renowned intellectuals, poets, and writers were held, and representatives of embassies from various countries visited the university during the year.

Then, the rector of Odlar Yurdu University, Professor Ahmad Valiyev, presented the title of Associate Professor to Ülviyyə Nəsirova, head of the English language department.

In conclusion, the rector of Odlar Yurdu University, Professor Ahmad Valiyev, spoke about the upcoming goals and tasks. He stated that when looking at the final assessments of the academic year, the overall results and quality indicators should be positively evaluated. However, he emphasized that in the upcoming academic year, we should strengthen our work, increase the scientific research potential of our university together with the students, and continue to work hard for the further development of our university's reputation in the country.
