Next meeting of the Academic Council held at Odlar Yurdu University

The next meeting of the Academic Council was held at Odlar Yurdu University. The meeting was chaired by the university’s rector, Professor Ahmad Valiyev. Before proceeding to the agenda items, the rector greeted the participants and provided detailed information about the recent developments in the university’s scientific-academic environment and outlined the main priorities ahead.

According to the agenda, the first item discussed was the scientific-theoretical analysis of the monograph titled “Socialization of the Individual in Modern Azerbaijani Society”, authored by Associate Professor Ulviyya Tacir gizi Mehraliyeva, PhD in Philosophy, from the Department of Philology and Humanitarian Sciences. The members of the Council highly appreciated the contribution of the work to the scientific understanding of socialization processes in contemporary Azerbaijani society, emphasizing its value as a significant addition to research in the field of humanities.

Subsequently, the teaching manual “Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics”, co-authored by Professor Mubariz Balaali oglu Valiyev, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics; Professor Eldar Huseyn oglu Huseynov, Doctor of Economics; and Lecturer Nargiz Kerem gizi Suleymanova, was presented by the staff of Department No. 3 – Mathematics and Digital Technologies. The content, structure, and pedagogical applicability of the textbook were thoroughly evaluated, with special emphasis on its integration with digital technologies. Council members noted that the manual would play an important role in enhancing the effectiveness of education in relevant specialties.

During the discussions, valuable scientific-pedagogical and methodological feedback was provided by Council members on both presentations, and a unanimous decision was made to recommend the publications for printing and use in the educational process.

The meeting was recognized as another important step towards promoting scientific creativity, encouraging authorship, and strengthening the integration of scientific knowledge into teaching at Odlar Yurdu University.
