Dear compatriots,
On behalf of myself and all the professors, teachers, and students of Odlar Yurdu University and Odlar Yurdu College, I sincerely congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of November 8 – Victory Day! This sacred day symbolizes a victory that is forever etched in the golden pages of our history.
This day, one of the brightest moments of our glorious history, is not only a military success but also a manifestation of our people's indomitable will, fighting spirit, and magnificent unity. Under the resolute leadership of our Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the 44-day Patriotic War, which began with the legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, once again demonstrated the unwavering commitment of Azerbaijan to its independence and territorial integrity to the world.
This victory is not only the result of our armed forces' excellent combat capabilities, but also an unshakable display of our nation's national pride and courage. The heroic soldiers and officers of the Azerbaijani Army, by liberating our lands from occupation, ended 30 years of longing and restored historical justice. Their bravery will forever leave an indelible mark in the hearts of every Azerbaijani and will serve as the greatest source of inspiration for future generations.
In this sacred struggle, we remember with deep respect and heartfelt prayers those heroic sons of our nation who sacrificed their lives for the path to victory. Their memory will live forever in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people. We pray for their souls to rest in peace.
We also wish our veterans health, long life, and prosperity. They are the crown of our people, our source of pride, and our greatest strength.
Karabakh is Azerbaijan! These words find their grandeur and meaning in the heart of every Azerbaijani.
