At Odlar Yurdu University, Azerbaijan–Albania educational cooperation was discussed

A meeting was held at Odlar Yurdu Universiteti between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Azerbaijan, Besart Kadia, and the Chairman of the University’s Board of Management, Professor Samir Vəliyev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of education between Azerbaijan and Albania. Particular attention was given to expanding student exchange programs, establishing academic partnerships, and creating joint educational programs. It was noted that such initiatives not only create new opportunities for students but also significantly contribute to strengthening ties between higher education institutions.

It was emphasized that private universities can act more flexibly and efficiently in establishing international collaborations. In this regard, they can serve as an effective platform for developing new partnerships. Additionally, it was noted that cooperation prospects in education are also being considered at the intergovernmental level, and discussions between the ministries of education could evolve into more systematic and formal joint programs in the future.

The importance of international educational experience was also highlighted. It was stated that studying abroad and participating in academic exchange programs provide broader perspectives and play a key role in personal and professional development. At the same time, it was noted that decisions about staying abroad or returning home are complex and influenced by personal and social factors.

The parties stressed the importance of continuing communication to further develop cooperation and implement concrete projects.
