Odlar Yurdu University and Odlar Yurdu College honor our Martyrs and Veterans on September 27 – Memorial Day

Odlar Yurdu University and Odlar Yurdu College, on the occasion of September 27 – Memorial Day, deeply honor all our martyrs who gave their lives for the homeland and our veterans who sacrificed their lives after being injured in the battle. Today, we once again recall that the war, which started on September 27, 2020, marked a crucial stage in the struggle for Azerbaijan's independence and territorial integrity.

September 27 is not only an important day in the history of Azerbaijan but also in the history of the world. Today, we honor the memory of our martyrs who gave their lives in the 44-day war for the homeland. They dedicated their lives to the highest cause – the liberation of our lands. Every martyr is not only a hero for their family and loved ones but also for the entire Azerbaijani nation.

Under the leadership of our victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the 44-day war demonstrated the unshakable commitment of Azerbaijan to its independence and territorial integrity. Thanks to his leadership and strategic foresight, the Azerbaijani army achieved victory, and our occupied territories were liberated. This war was the triumph of our nation’s unity and solidarity, culminating in a great victory.

The Azerbaijani people will never forget the heroism of our soldiers, who fought with determination to liberate our lands from 30 years of occupation. Their courage and sacrifice remind future generations of how these lands were reclaimed and the immense significance of this victory.

We deeply honor the memory of our heroic sons and daughters, who sacrificed their lives for the victory. Their memory will live forever in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people. We pray for their souls.

Our veterans, by demonstrating heroism and sacrifice on the battlefield, have proven their readiness to defend the homeland at all costs. Alongside our martyrs, they carry the honor and value of this struggle. Veterans bear the eternal responsibility of the victory we achieved, and their sacrifice will serve as the greatest example for future generations.

Karabakh is Azerbaijan! – These sacred words symbolize the memory of our martyrs and the struggle for the liberation of our lands.

We will always cherish the memory of our martyrs and will never forget their sacrifices.

Our victory was written with the blood of our martyrs.
