The teaching staff of the department consists of 17 employees, including 1 doctor of technical sciences, 5 professors, 1 professor of Odlar Yurdu University, 6 doctors of philosophy in technology, 3 associate professors, 1 associate professor of Odlar Yurdu University, and teachers.
Since 2018, the scientific research work on "Application of artificial intelligence and fuzzy logic to the fields of architecture and design and the creation of intelligent decision-making systems of commercial enterprises" has been carried out in the department. For about 100 subjects taught by the department, teaching-methodical materials that meet modern requirements have been developed by the department's employees. Employees of the department regularly take an active part in national and international conferences, symposia, round tables, and events held in media resources. Since 2022, the Department of Information Technologies has been operating on the basis of the Department of Information Technologies and Engineering.
