A scientific-methodological seminar on “Ethnic Diversity and National Idea” was held at OYU

A scientific-methodical seminar was organized on the initiative of the Department of Philology and Humanities of Odlar Yurdu University. The main purpose of the seminar was to improve the scientific-methodical preparedness of the teaching staff, discuss relevant scientific issues, and share new approaches that can be integrated into pedagogical activities.

At the seminar, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Humanities, PhD in Philosophy, Ulviyya Mehraliyeva Takhir, delivered a speech on the topic "Ethnic Diversity and National Idea." Within the framework of the report, the influence of ethnic diversity on the socio-cultural structures of society and the role of language, historical consciousness, and cultural values in the formation of the national idea were scientifically analyzed. The speaker shed light on both theoretical and practical aspects of these issues, emphasizing the importance of preserving a unified national identity alongside ethnic differences in modern societies.

After the presentation, interactive discussions were held among the participants, and various scientific-methodical approaches were proposed. During the speeches, particular attention was paid to the strengthening of the national idea and the preservation of ethnic harmony in multiethnic societies.
