The second republican meeting of Student Scientific Societies (SSS) was held at the initiative of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, aiming to strengthen mutual cooperation among higher education institutions and promote joint scientific initiatives.
The event was attended by the heads and deputy heads of SSSs from the country’s prestigious general and specialized higher education institutions. During the meeting, the development prospects of Student Scientific Societies, new opportunities for scientific collaboration, and the establishment of a unified SSS Union at the national level were discussed.
Odlar Yurdu University was represented at a high level in this meeting. The Chairperson of the University's Student Scientific Society, Ayna Mammadova, and Deputy Chairperson, Ayan Aliyeva, actively participated in the event, successfully demonstrating the university's contribution to the scientific environment. They presented various scientific initiatives, including proposals for organizing joint student conferences, forming the structural model of the SSS Union, and holding scientific competitions. Their ideas were met with great interest and appreciation by the participants.
In the opening of the event, Deputy Head of the MES Academy, Colonel Aslan Huseynov, emphasized the vital role of Student Scientific Societies in the development of scientific activity and underlined the importance of inter-university cooperation and scientific unity in shaping young researchers.
At the end of the meeting, working groups and a temporary supervisory board were established to address organizational matters, and representatives of Odlar Yurdu University were also included in these bodies.
With its active involvement in this important initiative, Odlar Yurdu University once again confirmed its strong commitment and support for the development of student science. The initiative, leadership qualities, and high scientific competence of the university’s representatives were highly appreciated by all participants.
