Dear Teachers, Esteemed Colleagues,
Today marks one of the most significant days dedicated worldwide to the teaching profession – World Teachers’ Day.
On this occasion, I sincerely congratulate each of you and express my deep gratitude for your unparalleled contributions to Azerbaijani education. Through your professional dedication, loyalty, and self-sacrifice, our youth gain not only scientific knowledge but also high moral values, growing into successful individuals of tomorrow.
As our National Leader Heydar Aliyev said: “I know of no title more honorable in the world than that of a teacher.” This statement clearly expresses the dignity of the teaching profession, its indispensable role in our society, and its contribution to the development and progress of our people. Teaching is not just a profession; it is the highest moral mission in a person’s life.
Dear colleagues, you play a leading role in building our future, not only with your knowledge but also with your hard work and moral values.
The activity of teachers is the cornerstone of societal development. The words of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, “Education is the future of the nation,” remain as relevant today as ever. Because, in the modern world, the future development of countries and the fate of nations depend on the level of education.
Having competent, dedicated, and continually learning teachers like you in our educational institutions strengthens our confidence in Azerbaijan’s bright future.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, has repeatedly emphasized in his speeches the significant role of education in the sustainable development of the country. Under his leadership, improvements in education quality, enhancement of teachers’ social welfare, and continuous educational reforms ensure the development of Azerbaijan’s education system in accordance with international standards.
Dear teachers, your work is sacred. We always highly appreciate your exemplary conduct, scientific and moral leadership, both in the classroom and in various areas of life. Thanks to your efforts, Azerbaijan’s future will be brighter and more confident. On this honorable path, I wish each of you inexhaustible energy, good health, and great success in your professional activities!
Once again, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on World Teachers’ Day and wish you the highest achievements in your future endeavors!
Sincerely,
Professor Ahmad Valiyev
