The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at Odlar Yurdu University, chaired by the Rector, Professor Ahmad Valiyev.
The agenda included discussions on compliance with discipline within the university, the state of labor discipline among staff, the improvement of students’ class attendance, and ensuring that dissertation topics at the doctoral and master’s levels correspond to current scientific issues.
During the meeting, several important proposals were voiced regarding the enhancement of the efficiency of the educational process, strengthening students’ sense of responsibility, and maintaining discipline in the academic environment.
In addition, the procedures for organizing and conducting industrial, pedagogical, and pre-diploma internships for bachelor’s degree students were thoroughly discussed and approved. Participants emphasized that internships play an essential role in shaping students’ practical knowledge and professional skills.
The meeting also featured the presentation of the 2025–2026 academic year activity plan for the university’s structural departments and teaching staff. Priority directions for the development of teaching, scientific research, and innovation activities in the upcoming period were identified.
