Hasan Gurbanli, a 4th-year Biology student at Odlar Yurdu University and Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee, presented his research on “Genetic Engineering and Its Prospects in Medicine” at the “Gevher Nesibe 15th International Health Sciences Congress”, held in Ankara, Türkiye, on September 28–30, 2025.
Following its presentation, the research paper was published in the international scientific journal “International Gevher Nesibe Health Sciences Conference – XV Proceedings Book” in recognition of its high scientific value. This publication stands as clear evidence of Hasan Gurbanli’s international academic achievement.
The research was conducted under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Tamilla Karimova, from the Department of Biology and Ecology at Odlar Yurdu University. The paper explored the application of genetic engineering in medicine and presented innovative scientific approaches at the intersection of biotechnology and medical science.
The study received high praise from conference participants for its scientific novelty, logical reasoning, and relevance to modern medical issues.
