On 8 November – Victory Day, students of the School of Humanities, Education, and Languages of Odlar Yurdu University visited the “Victory Park” and the “Military Trophies Park.”
The visit was organized under the supervision of Konul Huseynova, Lecturer at the Department of Philology and Humanities at Odlar Yurdu University. The primary objective of the visit was to foster in students a sense of patriotism, national unity, and respect for statehood values, as well as to familiarize the younger generation with the heroism of the participants of the Patriotic War.
During the visit, students were provided with detailed information regarding the extraordinary courage demonstrated by the Azerbaijani Army during the 44-day Patriotic War, the restoration of liberated territories, and the sacred memory of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our lands. They also examined the military equipment and exhibitions displayed at Victory Park and Military Trophies Park, and were briefed on the course of the Patriotic War, the army’s tactical operations, and the historical significance of the victory achieved.
The students of Odlar Yurdu University participated in this visit with profound pride, paying tribute to all the heroes who defended Azerbaijan’s state independence and territorial integrity.
