The “Career Week – 2025” project launched at Odlar Yurdu University

From November 17 to 20, 2025, the “Career Week – 2025” project was launched at Odlar Yurdu University through the joint initiative of the Strategic Development and Career Department, the Creativity and Cultural Events Department, and student organizations. The project was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the university.
The opening ceremony was conducted by the Chairman of the Management Board of Odlar Yurdu University, Member of the Milli Majlis, Professor Samir Valiyev. In his speech, he discussed changes in the labor market, career strategies for youth, and the professional skills required.
Following this, the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Relations, Professor Elshad Mammadov, shared insights on the university’s strategic development and students’ professional prospects.
After the official speeches, the Strategic Development and Career Department together with the Student Council organized a panel on “Youth and Career Development.” The panel included business coach and trainer Sanan Hasanov, personal development mentor and trainer Nigar Ahmadova, and the Head of the Strategic Development and Career Department of Odlar Yurdu University, Aslan Azimzade. They presented reports on career planning in the modern labor market, professional skills development, personal branding, and motivation.
It should be noted that within the framework of “Career Week – 2025,” various trainings, interactive sessions, and career-oriented activities were organized for students in the following days. This initiative made a significant contribution to the development of professional skills among Odlar Yurdu University students and the formation of their future career prospects, and also had special importance for the celebration of the university’s 30th anniversary.
