An excursion dedicated to Environmental Awareness and a Subsequent Scientific-Methodological seminar were organized at OYU

An excursion for environmental awareness was organized for the students of the Faculty of Nature and Technologies of Odlar Yurdu University, arranged by the Department of Biology and Ecology. During the excursion, led by Department Associate Professor Tamilla Karimova and Senior Lecturer Sevinj Abbasova, students received detailed information about waste processing, environmental safety processes, and modern ecological technologies at the Balakhany Industrial Park. The excursion was of significant importance for increasing the students' ecological knowledge and conducting practical observations in a real-world setting.
Following the excursion, a scientific-methodological seminar on the topic "Clean City and Healthy Future" was held at Odlar Yurdu University. The seminar was led by Sevinj Abbasova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biology and Ecology. During the event, the scientific foundations of environmental culture formation, urban environment improvement, and proper waste management were discussed. Students actively participated in Q&A sessions and exchanged views on the topic.
Through such consistent events, Odlar Yurdu University continuously focuses on harmonizing students' theoretical knowledge with practical experience, increasing environmental literacy, and forming a scientific worldview aligned with sustainable development principles.
