“Career Week” dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Odlar Yurdu University successfully concludes

The series of events within the “Career Week” project, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Odlar Yurdu University, which made a significant contribution to the professional development of young people, has successfully concluded. The final event and official closing of the project was a career training held under the title “The Path to Success in the Labor Market,” co-organized by the Department of Strategic Development and Career, the Student Scientific Society, and Shane Academy.
The event kicked off with an opening speech by the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Relations of Odlar Yurdu University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Elshad Mammadov. In his address, the Vice-Rector spoke about the rapidly changing demands of the labor market, global trends, and the importance of a strategic approach in the career planning of young people, delivering motivating messages to the students.
The training featured renowned experts from various fields, including Candidate of Economic Sciences and entrepreneur Sakit Samadov, Harvard graduate and internationally recognized specialist Jala Bahramova, founder of “Doydum Catering” company Jeyhun Khalilov, founder of “Apply-Uni” and “Qolatofficial” platforms Said Baghirov, as well as founder of Kartpak companies Vugar Jabbarov.
The speakers provided young people with valuable advice and recommendations based on real-world experience on topical issues such as the demands of the modern labor market, career planning, personal branding, entrepreneurial skills, study abroad opportunities, and professional networking.
Finally, the closure of the “Career Week” was announced, with special emphasis placed on the contributions of all conducted trainings to the future career development of Odlar Yurdu University students. It was also noted that this successful project will be continued on a broader scale by Odlar Yurdu University in the coming years. This series of events, specifically dedicated to the University’s 30th anniversary, once again demonstrated the successful execution of Odlar Yurdu University's strategic mission aimed at youth development.
