A regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held at Odlar Yurdu University (OYU). The meeting was opened by the Rector of the university, Professor Ahmed Valiyev, who welcomed the participants and provided detailed information on the agenda items.
The meeting featured extensive discussions on the current state of preparations for the fall semester examination session, planned changes in the university's management structure, and the approval of the new organizational structure. Additionally, the evaluation of the scientific and pedagogical activities of the university staff and their transition to senior lecturer status were reviewed.
As a significant part of the agenda, the progress of preparations for the upcoming 30th anniversary of Odlar Yurdu University was analyzed. Furthermore, reports on surveys conducted by the Strategic Development and Career Department among 2024-2025 graduates, as well as the results of internal university surveys conducted by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department, were presented.
The meeting also included a discussion of the textbook titled "Historical and Cultural Tourism," prepared by the Head of the Department of International Relations and Tourism, Professor S.A. Valiyev, and the Deputy Head of the Department, Associate Professor S.Y. Aliyeva.
