The presentation ceremony of the "Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur dialectological atlas of the Azerbaijani language" was held

"Dialectological atlas of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur of the Azerbaijani language" compiled by the employees of the Department of Azerbaijani Dialectology of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has been published. Atlas 2022 is dedicated to the "Year of Shusha" in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2015-2019, material related to the compilation of the dialectological atlas was collected from about a thousand settlements, and 692 settlements that could provide isogloss phonetically, lexically, and grammatically were coded. The specific dialectological features of the region are reflected in the "Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur Dialectological Atlas of the Azerbaijani Language" presented in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, and English languages.
The presentation ceremony of the "Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur dialectological atlas of the Azerbaijani language" was held at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli announced the event with his opening speech and evaluated the atlas as a great contribution to Azerbaijani science. Later, professor Nadir Mammadli - head of the Department of Azerbaijani Dialectology, assistant professor Kifayat Imamguliyeva, academician Nizami Jafarov - head of the Department of Philology and Humanities Sciences of OYU, professor Maharram Mammadli, professor Karim Shukurov and other speakers were heard. At the presentation ceremony, the teacher of the Department of Philology and Humanities of OYU, Ph.D. Sevinj Gambarova and 3rd year students studying Philology Khatira Valiyeva, Samina Shahnigarova, Shalala Abbasova and Pari Muradli participated.
