A conference called "Heydar Aliyev and March 31 truths" was held at Odlar Yurdu University

As part of the program of events dedicated to Heydar Aliyev's 100th birthday, a conference on "Heydar Aliyev and truth on March 31" was held under the joint organization of Odlar Yurdu University and Narimanov district organization YAP.
The event began with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Later, a minute of silence commemorated the victims of the Azerbaijani Genocide and the martyrs of the Patriotic War.
The event was attended by the chairman of the Narimanov district organization YAP, as well as the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the University Odlar Yurdu, professor Samir Valiev, vice-chancellors, heads of departments and departments, teaching staff, students and invited guests.
TGT chairman Sevgiya Aliyeva spoke at the beginning of the event. Then, on March 31, a short documentary film about the Genocide of Azerbaijanis was shown.
Later, the word for the speech was provided by prof. Samir Veliev.
Professor Samir Valiyev noted that the work on the investigation of the March 31 genocide and bringing the truth about it to the world public began with the Decree "On the Genocide of Azerbaijanis" signed by the national leader Heydar Aliyev on March 26, 1998, which has great historical significance. This Decree gave a legal and political assessment to the actions of Armenian nationalists, carried out targeted work in the direction of bringing the truth about the genocide to international organizations.
The participants of the event were informed about the historical, political and legal role of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev "On the 100th anniversary of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis in 1918" dated January 18, 2018 in the direction of investigating the criminal and terrorist acts of Armenians and bringing them to the world public.
In conclusion, the students of Odlar Yurdu University were listened to on March 31 - Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
