OYU professor Elshad Mammadov was elected as the new chairman of the Public Council

Professor Elshad Mammadov, Head of the Department of Economics and Economic Relations of Odlar Yurdu University, was elected as the new chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
Professor Elshad Mammadov, who met with the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev, highly valued the special attention paid to cooperation with civil society institutions and ensuring public control in the activity of the ministry.
According to the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, Mr. Minister drew attention to the large-scale social reforms carried out in the country and emphasized that special importance is attached to ensuring public participation and cooperation with civil societies in the process of those reforms.
He also pointed out that ample conditions have been created for the participation of the Public Council in the provision of public control, as well as the preparation of drafts of normative and legal acts, and the improvement of relevant legislation. The minister stated that this experience of cooperation will continue in the coming period.
