An event called "About living love or true love" was held at OYU

Odlar Yurdu University hosted a literary and artistic event called "About living love or true love" dedicated to the 100th anniversaries of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Zarifa Aliyeva.
The event began with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Later, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Zarifa Aliyeva was commemorated with a minute of silence.Odlar Yurdu University hosted a literary and artistic event dedicated to the 100th anniversaries of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Zarifa Aliyeva.

Speaking at the opening of the event, OYU vice-rector for teaching organization and new learning technologies, Assoc. Gabil Gafarov spoke about the services of Mrs. Zarifa Aliyeva, the first woman academician in the field of ophthalmology, a doctor of medical sciences, a professor, a beautiful person, a selfless mother, who introduced Azerbaijani ophthalmology to the international world.
The vice-rector noted that Mrs. Zarifa, born in the family of Aziz Aliyev, a prominent statesman and scientist, who spent all her knowledge and skills in the service of the people, was a worthy child of her parents, a famous scientist, a well-known doctor, a talented person, a devoted life partner and a caring mother.
At the same time, she was the faithful lifelong companion, faithful friend and reliable comrade of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, the genius who dedicated his whole meaningful life to the progress of his homeland and people. Zarifa Aliyeva has many honorary titles, scientific titles and awards. Each of these names is a source of pride.
Vice-rectors of Odlar Yurdu University, heads of departments and departments, faculty members, students and invited guests took part in the event.
Later, a short documentary film about the life and activities of Mrs. Zarifa Aliyeva was shown.
At the end, students of Odlar Yurdu University and Odlar Yurdu College presented a literary and artistic composition called "Long live love and true love".
