At the University of Odlar Yurdu, Vusala Badalova, a researcher at the Laboratory of Industrially Important Plants of the Institute of Dendrology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized a training for our students on the topic “Antioxidant activity and therapeutic use of passionflower species cultivated in Azerbaijan for the first time.”
The training discussed the importance of Passiflora Incarnata L, which grows in South America and is successfully used in medicine as a sedative herb, and other species.
At the end of the training, discussions were held on the topic, and answers were given to questions addressed to the speaker.
The training was attended by the head of the Department of Biology and Ecology, Ph.D., Assoc. Tamilla Karimova, as well as teachers and students of the department.
