A Conference Held at Odlar Yurdu University on the Restoration of Independence Day

On October 18, Odlar Yurdu University hosted a conference titled "Our Independence is Eternal and Unshakable," dedicated to the Restoration of Independence Day.
The event began with the performance of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This was followed by a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for independence.
The conference was attended by the university's faculty and students. A short video about the journey to independence was presented during the event.
Students such as Nuray Bakirova, Anar Malikova, Terana Bashirova, Madina Zahidli, Onur Farhadov, Mahbuba Mammadova, and Islam Hasanov shared their thoughts on the significance, values, and preservation of independence.
Participants highlighted the importance of independence, discussed the responsibilities required for its preservation, and addressed the topics of passing this priceless heritage to future generations and strengthening the position of independent Azerbaijan on the world stage.
The conference featured a speech by Associate Professor Qabil Qafarov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and New Educational Technologies at Odlar Yurdu University. He emphasized that independence is an invaluable asset to the history and culture of our nation. He noted that the restoration of independence laid the foundation for Azerbaijan to become a strong state and acknowledged the heroism and dedication of our people behind these achievements.
Associate Professor Qabil Qafarov called on the youth to uphold and nurture these values with independent thinking. He stressed that protecting independence is the duty of every individual and expressed confidence that the younger generation would further enhance this value.
Thus, the conference at Odlar Yurdu University emphasized the importance of independence, strengthened the participants' sense of unity and solidarity, and aimed to foster patriotism among the youth while preserving the values essential for the future of independent Azerbaijan.
The event concluded with a message that the youth will do their utmost to make Azerbaijan's future brighter and uplifted the spirit of independence among all participants.
