Scientific-Practical Seminar of the "Foreign Language" Club Held at OYU

A scientific-practical seminar of the "Foreign Language" Club, organized by the Department of Languages and the Student Scientific Society at Odlar Yurdu University, was successfully held. The event opened with the performance of the Azerbaijani National Anthem, and the opening remarks were made by Turkan Azeri, the chair of the Student Scientific Society at Odlar Yurdu University. This event served as a targeted meeting aimed at enhancing students' academic skills.
The seminar was attended by the head of the United Faculties Department of Odlar Yurdu University, faculty deans, the head of the Department of Languages, and students.
In her speech, Dr. Saadat Abdurahmanova, the head of the Department of Languages, shared her thoughts on the objectives and significance of the seminar and its contributions to students' development. She emphasized the importance of increasing students' scientific activities and enhancing their ability to express themselves in foreign languages.
During the seminar, student presentations took place. These presentations aimed to improve students' expression skills in various languages and develop their research abilities. The club's activities included writing theses and articles in foreign languages, preparing academic works, and discussing experiences in a workshop format. Detailed information on these topics was provided to seminar participants by Dr. Günay Əfəndiyeva, a lecturer from the Department of Languages.
Over the past two years, the "Foreign Language" Club, operating under the Department of Languages, has continuously organized events to uncover and develop students' scientific and creative potential at various educational stages. This seminar also facilitated discussions and exchanges of ideas to strengthen solidarity among students and promote knowledge and experience sharing.
At the end of the event, a video presentation was shown to recall the scientific-practical seminars held in the previous year, and certificates were awarded to students who excelled in organizing the seminar.
