OYU holds open lesson on "Developing Patriotism Among Youth" dedicated to Victory Day

Odlar Yurdu University’s Department of Psychology, Pedagogy, and Social Sciences organized an open lesson with third-year students of the Faculty of Humanities, Education, and Languages on the theme "Developing Patriotism Among Youth," dedicated to Victory Day.
This lesson aimed to instill in the younger generation a love for their homeland, loyalty to national values, and a commitment to passing on our unforgettable historical legacy to future generations. Organized at the initiative of OYU lecturer Ulviyya Nasibova, the open lesson began with a minute of silence in honor of fallen heroes. During the lesson, students recited patriotic poems and delivered heartfelt speeches about Azerbaijan's historic victory in the Patriotic War, the bravery of the military, and the heroism of our martyrs. Through presentations, students explored Azerbaijan’s challenging path, the spirit of national unity and solidarity, and the heroic history of our people.
The event was attended by the teaching staff of Odlar Yurdu University, who emphasized the importance of this open lesson, noting its significant role in strengthening students’ sense of patriotism, and praised its organization. In their speeches, the faculty highlighted the positive impact of such events in fostering students’ national consciousness, patriotism, and respect for values.
