A stakeholder meeting was held at Odlar Yurdu University regarding the preparation of the 2022-2027 Strategic Development Plan (SDP). During the meeting, participants were presented with the final report on the previous 2017-2022 Strategic Development Plan.
Representatives from various sectors of the labor market, including the National Confederation of Employers' Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mugan Bank, Sinam LTD, Oxygen Clinical Hospital, BSB Full Secondary Innovation School, Modern Innovations Lyceum, Irrigation.az LLC, and 4S LLC, attended the meeting. They emphasized the necessity of incorporating initiatives such as organizing joint experience and training programs, establishing progressive mechanisms for tracking the employment activities of graduates, and introducing new specialties in line with labor market demands in the new SDP.
On the other hand, representatives of the university's structural divisions pointed out that some goals outlined in the 2017-2022 SDP had not been fully achieved due to the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. They stressed the importance of reflecting these goals in the new 2022-2027 SDP. Additionally, several proposals were made regarding strengthening the connection between graduates and the labor sector, and integrating them more actively into the university life, which were also highlighted as essential elements for inclusion in the new strategic plan.
This meeting was a crucial step in planning the strategic development of Odlar Yurdu University in collaboration with broader stakeholders, ensuring that the university’s educational and scientific activities are aligned with the needs of the labor market and set for effective future growth.
