The next meeting of the General Scientific Council was held at Odlar Yurdu University

The next meeting of the Scientific Council of Odlar Yurdu University was held on December 2, 2022. At the meeting, the rector of Odlar Yurdu University, professor Ahmet Valiyev, first greeted the members of the scientific council and gave the floor to the chairman of the accreditation commission, vice-rector of Odlar Yurdu University, professor Fakhraddin Mammadov, to get acquainted with the current state of the process of preparation for accreditation. Professor F. Mammadov gave extensive information about the general situation of the work done before the accreditation and brought to the attention of the meeting participants that the preparation of the documents was going according to plan. Later, the vice-rector for Science and Innovations, professor Tarlan Abdullayev, specially emphasized that the state of the scientific-research works conducted at the university and the preparation of the annual scientific reports for the departments are satisfactory. Vice-rector for teaching organization and new learning technologies, Assoc. Gabil Gafarov pointed out that the accreditation documents of the departments and departments of the united faculties are ready. At the end of the meeting, the rector of Odlar Yurdu University, professor Ahmet Valiyev, pointed out that the preparatory work for accreditation was going according to plan and gave new tasks to the structural units. Continuing his speech, the rector noted that, as you know, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, signed a decree declaring 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev". He is a powerful personality who consistently fought in the direction of Azerbaijan, he is the founder of the modern statehood of Azerbaijan. Thus, the Great Leader gave his blessing to the start of activity of  Odlar Yurdu University. Therefore, I suggest that starting from January 2023, the "Heydar Aliyev scholarship" should be established for the most educated, capable, politically mature student of the university. All members of the scientific council unanimously voted for this proposal.
